We are a research team that consists of 10 students from the University of Thessaly. Our team is participating in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition, one of the largest student competitions in science worldwide, organized by the MIT and the iGEM Foundation, bringing together more than 7,000 students globally every year. Through synthetic biology, students design and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. This year s competition will take place in Paris. iGEM Thessaly has been participating since 2019 and has won 7 gold medals, along with several awards in special categories. To continue our research and represent Greece in the competition, we need your support. Every contribution makes a difference!
